Yesterday, on the 8th of July, Edge of Eternities spoilers just started to get posted. Theese are the cards i think can have the best impact in Constructed. First of all, i would like to write a couple of words about the two abilities that will be introduced with this set.

Warp

You may cast this card from your hand for its warp cost. Exile this creature at the beginning of the next end step, then you may cast it from exile on a later turn.

What if Evoke and Plot/Adventure had a child? Warp would be their child. I really like the concept behind this ability. Triggering the ETB effects plus the chance to cast the spell from exile later in the game seems to be very powerful. This even triggers any "If a permanent left the battlefield" effects of other cards (See void in next paragraph). The ability will definitely have a big impact, at least in standard.

Void

If a nonland permanent left the battlefield this turn or a spell was warped this turn...

Very similar to Revolt, this ability guarantees additional or more powerful effects to the card. Once again, i really like this concept. It enables a lot of powerplays and big turns, it also presents a big sinergy with the Warp ability. This will be the one with the biggest impact on the competitive constructed formats in my opinion.

Let's get to the best cards presented so far...

Frenzied Baloth

Finally a very good aggro card...for GREEN! This will very like enable some aggressive brews, both for Mono Green and Gruul. I think that this will be played in Gruul instead of the Manifold Mouse (This is a way too powerful 2-drop). Shocklands will help with the mana base.

Consult the Charts

Potentially this is the new addition to any control deck. Not as powerful as Stock Up, but definitely a very good draw engine. It gains value during the whole game and it fits perfectly into any Control shell (and maybe into some of the Midrange shells).

Archenemy's Charm

Removal, recursion, anti-aggro. This card basically has everything a Mono Black midrange needs. Given that this is an archetype that already saw some play lately, i think its presence will increase a lot.

Tezzeret, Cruel Captain

United Battlefront retrieves this. It tutors, it untaps and has a very strong finisher. Azorius Artifact is an archetype that we already saw in the meta (even if for just a brief moment). I think this card can revive the whole archetype (Simulacrum Synthesizer will still be legal).

Tragic Trajectory

The rotation will take out a lot of good black removals. This may be one of the best alternatives after the rotation.

Final thoughts

This is just the beginning of the whole spoiler process. Right now there are few "good" cards worth mentioning. Let's see how the spoilers go ahead and if any "Vivi-like" bomb will be presented.
